It is hard to believe that kids will be heading back to school soon, and another summer will soon be in the books. With that in mind, I would like to comment on a few recent activities and upcoming events:

•  Thanks to WBPA Board member Zach Dripps and his family for hosting the 4th of July Parade. It was a great event and fun for all who attended.

•  Congratulations to all of the Winding Brook in Bloom winners! Thanks for inspiring all of us to spruce up our yards this summer.

•  Real estate values are up almost 20% in our area and a number of residents have sold their homes within days of listing them. This is a reminder to all of us to take care of our property and homes. Your next door neighbors, especially those that may have their homes for sale, with THANK YOU. Need help with your property or lawn, consider using the NextDoor app to find help.

•  Thanks to all who have paid their 2018 dues. We are close to meeting our budget so if you have not already paid, please consider doing so today. Your dues help us to take care of the common areas and entrances to the neighborhood, and underwrite the cost of the functions mentioned previously, and upcoming, and the Crier—our favorite newsletter, and more.

In closing, I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and I look forward to seeing your around the neighborhood.

Sincerely,
Michael Miller
